20. ledna 2027 přestává platit směrnice 2006/42/ES a nahrazuje ji nové Nařízení (EU) 2023/1230. Změny nejsou kosmetické: každý stroj uvedený na evropský trh po tomto datu už musí být s touto novou regulací plně compliant.
On 20 January 2027, Directive 2006/42/EC ceases to apply and is replaced by the new Regulation (EU) 2023/1230. The changes are not cosmetic: every machine placed on the EU market after that date must be fully compliant with the new regulation.
Pro výrobce, kteří už dnes stoprocentně plní stávající Machinery Directivu, to znamená jen minimum práce navíc a spíše precizaci procesů. Pokud má ale firma v compliance historické nebo aktuální nedostatky, mělo by pro ni být toto datum skutečným alarmem k jejich dotažení. Nová regulace je totiž napsaná mnohem lépe, s jasnějšími termíny a minimálním prostorem pro kličkování. Případné nedostatky tak budou ze strany orgánů dozoru nad trhem mnohem snáze a častěji vymáhány.
For manufacturers who already fully meet the current Machinery Directive, this means only a modest amount of extra work, mainly tightening processes. If a company has historical or current compliance gaps, however, that date should be a real alarm to close them. The new regulation is written far more clearly, with sharper definitions and little room for loopholes. Shortcomings will therefore be far easier for market-surveillance authorities to identify and enforce.
Souběžně s tímto přechodem přichází také aktualizace a nové harmonizace většiny klíčových norem, jako jsou ISO 12100 nebo ISO 13849-1.
Alongside this transition come updates and new harmonisations of most key standards, including ISO 12100 and ISO 13849-1.
